Information for Event Organisers
The Pentland Hills Regional Park is a location for organised events such as the Carnethy 5 and Pentland Skyline hill races, British Orienteering Championships, the Rat Race Adventure Race as well as sponsored walks and horse riding.
If you planning an event in the Regional Park you may need the permission of relevant land managers. Please refer to the document Guidance for Outdoor Access Events in the Pentland Hills Regional Park.
If your event involves usage of any of the Regional Park's reservoirs, please also refer to Using Inland Water Responsibly: Guidance for all Water Users. If, after reading these guidelines, you require further assistance please contact the Natural Heritage Service.
