A mountain bike (MTB) trail centre is being proposed for land south of Edinburgh at the
former Lothianburn golf course.
The Pentland Trail Centre will focus on MTB trails but will also be an access point for hill walkers
and other users of the Pentland Hills Regional Park. It proposes a range of cross country trails,
pump track and other features, designed to introduce new enthusiasts to the sport of mountain
biking and to provide an exciting outdoor and indoor facility close to the city.
The Pentland Trail Centre is being developed by Hillend Leisure Limited a joint venture between
Swanston Farms Ltd (the site owner) and Advie Properties. Hillend Leisure Limited has appointed a
full technical team to work on these proposals and members of the team will be present to answer
detailed questions at the exhibition.
We are keen to see local communities, outdoor enthusiasts and people of all ages come along to
learn more about the project.
Please come along to explore our first round of information on the proposals and to give us your feedback.
