Pentland Hills regional park logo

Welcome to the Pentland Hills. The Regional Park encompasses a stunning range of medium-sized hills stretching from the City of Edinburgh bypass down to Carlops. Three local authorities cover the area, which is a mixture of publicly-owned land (such as Hillend, Bonaly, and Harlaw), and private land used for farming and sport shooting.

- download our map and information leaflet to orientate yourself to the area
- download our leaflet How to Get to the Pentland Hills by Bus for information on walks starting or finishing at bus stops
- find out more about our Visitor Information Points at Harlaw and Flotterstone
- wondering what the weather will be like? See the links to the left, or check out this webcam, which points towards East and West Kips.
