Castle Law Hill Fort

The hill tops are littered with archaeological remains, most notably at RCHAMS Castle Law Hill Fort and Souterrain, owned by Historic Environment Scotland, but monitored by the Regional Park. You can drive up an MoD road to the Souterrain car park from the A702. Caerketton Hill and Lawhead Hill also both host forts.

There are large cairns on Carnethy, and East and West Cairn Hills at Harperigg.

The Regional Park hosts 12 Scheduled Ancient Monuments and a number of listed buildings.
